One sunny day, we went up  White Salmon River to go rafting. Ben, our guide, told us about the Dam removal project, how he had once lived in a tent by the river for two years with his dog and stories about people falling out of the raft.
After lots of practice, we went down one of the three largest waterfall that are legal to raft in the US. Needless to say that we wanted to go again, all of us...

Later downstream, a magical mist floated just above the water and gave an erie feeling. Unfortunately, I did not bring a waterproof camera, so those images only exist in my mind and the stories to tell.
